NAMUGA Co., Ltd. (KOSDAQ: 190510) announced that it successfully concluded its “2025 TECH-DAY” event held at the company’s Pangyo headquarters. The highlight of this year’s event was the signing of a supply agreement with LIPS Corporation, a Taiwan-based global leader in 3D sensing solutions, marking NAMUGA’s first official supply partnership in the AI Vision market.
Held for the second time following last year’s inaugural event, 2025 TECH-DAY was themed “AI-Driven Evolution of Vision Technology.” The event provided a platform to share NAMUGA’s latest technological innovations and explore deeper collaboration opportunities with domestic and global clients.
Key presentations covered next-generation ultra-compact camera modules, advanced ToF and 3D sensing technologies, next-generation security systems, and progress in new business initiatives. Joint demonstrations and co-developed technology showcases with partner companies reflected NAMUGA’s strong technical reliability and trusted partnerships. Compared to last year’s event, more leading domestic and international companies attended this year, actively engaging in discussions on future cooperation.
Since declaring its transition into an AI Vision Solution company in 2024, NAMUGA has focused on strengthening partnerships with global clients to co-develop advanced technologies and expand into new markets. The commercialization process—ranging from initial PoC (Proof of Concept) to sample supply and mass production—typically takes over two years, and NAMUGA has been consistently fostering these collaborations throughout that process.
The newly signed supply agreement with LIPS represents one of the key achievements of these efforts. Founded in 2013 by researchers from MIT, LIPS collaborates with global technology leaders including NVIDIA, Panasonic, Toshiba, and Texas Instruments. Through this partnership, NAMUGA and LIPS will leverage the synergy between LIPS’s advanced algorithms and processing technology and NAMUGA’s 3D camera technology to strengthen cooperation in the mobility (industrial robotics) and security sectors.
NAMUGA is also in discussions with a global big-tech partner operating a large-scale e-commerce and logistics platform to apply its vision technology in logistics robots, with sample supply already underway and initial shipments expected as early as next year. In the XR (Extended Reality) field, NAMUGA is collaborating with STMicroelectronics, a global semiconductor leader, to integrate its camera and image-processing technology into next-generation smart glasses and related devices.
“In the AI era, vision technology serves as the eyes of every device,” said Minhyung Lee, Head of NAMUGA’s Business Development Team. “Through 2025 TECH-DAY, we will accelerate our global partnerships and strengthen our leadership in the AI Vision market.”
He added, “Beyond the mobile sector, NAMUGA will continue expanding in new business areas and achieve stable, sustainable growth as a leading Vision Solution company.”
