Combining 3D Vision Technology with Post-Quantum Cryptography to Enter the Global Security Market

Joint participation with global IT distributor Macnica to expand global business opportunities

NAMUGA announced on March 26 that it has officially entered the physical security market by unveiling its first security solution at ISC West 2026, the largest security exhibition in the United States.

ISC West 2026 (March 23–27, Las Vegas) brings together over 800 global security companies from approximately 30 countries. This year’s event is expected to highlight key industry trends such as Digital Trust and Identity. In particular, technologies that combine AI with biometric authentication to ensure tamper-proof and highly reliable identity verification are emerging as critical competitive factors in the global security market.

At the exhibition, NAMUGA introduced its first vision-based physical security solution, the VICON series. The solution delivers industry-leading performance, featuring 99.99% recognition accuracy and ultra-fast authentication speeds of under 0.2 seconds. Notably, VICON is directly designed by a manufacturer with core expertise in camera module technology, ensuring a high level of integration and performance.

VICON integrates NAMUGA’s proprietary hardware capabilities—built over years of experience in RGB cameras and high-precision 3D sensing modules—with a Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) architecture designed to fundamentally protect against advanced security threats.

As quantum computing advances, even encrypted data may become vulnerable to decryption. PQC represents a next-generation security technology designed to withstand such threats. NAMUGA developed its PQC algorithms in collaboration with its AI affiliate, AIMatics, further strengthening its technological foundation.

With VICON, NAMUGA plans to actively target the physical security market while expanding its presence in security-related revenue streams. The company is also pursuing joint development of smart home AI solutions in collaboration with a leading global mobile AP semiconductor company.

At ISC West 2026, NAMUGA is co-exhibiting with Macnica, a global technology solutions distributor with annual revenue of approximately KRW 10 trillion. Beyond showcasing new technologies, the two companies aim to jointly drive business development efforts, including identifying global customers and securing new revenue opportunities.

Building on a strategic partnership (MOU) signed last year, NAMUGA and Macnica are actively collaborating across multiple sectors, including security, mobility, and robotics, through joint sales and business initiatives.

“NAMUGA is a vision solution company with deep expertise in imaging technologies, and the performance of any security system ultimately depends on how accurately it can recognize and analyze visual data,” said Don Lee, CEO of NAMUGA. “After two years of thorough preparation, we are proud to officially enter the security market and will continue striving to earn the trust of global customers through our technology.”
