We're pleased to announce that NAMUGA will exhibit at the 2027 Embedded Vision Summit, taking place 2–4 February 2027 as part of SPIE Photonics West, the world's largest optics and photonics technologies event. You'll find us at Booth #6211.
2027 marks a milestone: for the first time, the Embedded Vision Summit will be held as a co-located conference within SPIE Photonics West. For a company like NAMUGA — which sits precisely at the intersection of optics and vision intelligence — it is hard to imagine a more fitting venue.
Founded in 2012 and organized by the Edge AI and Vision Alliance, the Embedded Vision Summit has grown into a leading conference for engineers, integrators, and innovators building computer vision and physical AI into real products. Its focus is deliberately practical: not vision research for its own sake, but the design decisions, processors, sensors, and software that turn perception into shipping hardware.
Launched by SPIE in 1974, Photonics West is recognized as the largest optics and photonics conference in the world, bringing together researchers, engineers, and manufacturers across lasers, biomedical optics, optoelectronics, imaging, and quantum technologies. In 2027 it runs from 30 January to 4 February in San Francisco.
Embedded vision has always depended on two things at once: the optics and sensors that capture the world, and the compute that interprets it. Historically those communities met at different events. Bringing the Embedded Vision Summit under the Photonics West umbrella puts the full stack — from lens and illumination to sensor, module, and edge AI processing — in one place.
That is exactly how NAMUGA builds. Our camera modules and 3D sensing solutions are designed as complete optical-and-vision systems, not as components handed off between disciplines.
