NAMUGA Signs Partnership MOU with Infineon

NAMUGA Co., Ltd. (190510, KOSDAQ), a leading camera module supplier, has announced the signing of a partnership Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Infineon Technologies, a global leader in semiconductor solutions.

 

The signing ceremony, held on January 9th (U.S. local time) at Infineon’s booth during CES, was attended by NAMUGA CEO Don Lee and Philipp Schierstaedt, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Sales for the Consumer, Computing, and Communication division at Infineon. The two parties affirmed their commitment to leveraging ToF (Time-of-Flight) sensor and 3D vision camera module technologies to enhance their competitive edge, provide differentiated ToF camera solutions for customers, and foster mutual growth.

 

Through this partnership, NAMUGA and Infineon plan to strengthen their collaboration on ToF technology services and promote joint solutions to a global customer base.

 

NAMUGA, with over a decade of expertise in 3D vision solutions, has been working closely with Infineon since 2022. The new partnership is expected to expand their technological collaboration across various sectors, including Rearview Cameras (RVC), Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality (AR/VR), Automotive, Security and Bio-Medical devices. Both companies aim to accelerate the development of ToF technology and expand their footprint in the global market. 

 

 

NAMUGA CEO Don Lee expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “We are delighted to partner with Infineon, a global leader in ToF sensor technology. As demand for 3D image sensing-based technologies continues to grow, we will dedicate ourselves to developing innovative solutions for global customers in collaboration with Infineon, cementing our leadership in the industry.”

 

3D vision camera module technology, combined with AI, is increasingly required to deliver optimized solutions for various applications, including extended reality (XR), autonomous driving, and medical diagnostics. NAMUGA plans to maintain its leadership position in the 3D camera module market through continuous technological development and product innovation.

 

NAMUGA has also been actively expanding its customer base by collaborating with various domestic and international companies. The company has successfully built supply relationships with key global enterprises, further solidifying its reputation for technological excellence in the global market.
