NAMUGA and Electronic Photonics Sign MOU to Jointly Develop and Commercialize 3D LiDAR Solutions in Saudi Arabia and Global Markets

NAMUGA Co., Ltd. announced on June 8, 2026, that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Electronic Photonics (“EPhotonics”), headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for the joint manufacturing and commercialization of 3D LiDAR products for various 3D vision applications in Saudi Arabia and for international markets.

 

The MOU aims to combine NAMUGA’s expertise in 3D LiDAR module manufacturing with Electronic Photonics’ hardware and 3D vision software design, and sales and distribution network across the Middle East to jointly develop, manufacture and supply high-performance LiDAR products to a broad range of customers.

 

Under the agreement, NAMUGA will be responsible for the manufacturing, assembly, quality verification and supply of customized LiDAR products that meet Electronic Photonics's requirements.  Electronic Photonics' LiDAR product lineup will consist of three models, for OEM embedded applications, indoor environments and extreme outdoor conditions.

 

This agreement is based on NAMUGA’s proprietary 3D LiDAR module developed using Lumotive’s LCM™ technology platform. The MOU clearly stipulates that intellectual property rights for technologies independently developed or created by either party during the course of the collaboration will remain with the respective developer. In addition, the companies plan to further define the framework for allocating rights to future jointly developed outcomes through subsequent discussions.
